How young can my child start dance classes? We have classes for 2-year old and older in our Tiny Toes program. We have classes for ages two to adults


What will my child learn in your Tiny Toes program? Along with dance technique, they will practice class and life skills by learning respect and compassion for others.


What classes are available for 2 1/2 - 5 year olds? Creative classes are for our 2 1/2 - 3 year olds and is a 45 minute ballet class. 3 - 5 years can enroll in our Combo classes and is a 60 minute class teaching both ballet and tap. Our 5 year olds can also take beginning hip hop and/or beginning tumbling.


Am I allowed to watch my child while they are in class?  Yes, all of our studios have observation windows so you can watch your child grow through dance.


Does SCDF offer a free trial class? Yes. Your child is allowed to try a free trial class of each style of dance they desire.


When is it to late to enroll my child in dance classes? We accept enrollments anytime throughout the session;  however, your dancer may not be able to perform in the annual recital if they register after March due to costume availability.


What should my child wear to dance class?

Ballet, Pointe, and Tiny Toes program: For girls: pink tights, solid color leotard, and pink ballet shoes. They may wear a ballet skirt if they wish. Please put their hair up in a bun, or if it is too short, up on the sides out of their face. For boys: black bottoms and a white t-shirt and black ballet shoes.

Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Tumbling: Dance pants or shorts, leotard, dance top or tank top, shoes are optional.

Hip Hop: Baggy pants, please no jeans. Tops may be baggy or tight. Clean tennis shoes or boots, that are only worn in hip hop.


Is there an annual performance my dancer will perform in? Each year SCDF has several performance options. We have an annual Christmas show, for a small performance fee, which is an option for every dancer. We also have our annual recital in which every class performs a dance showing how much they have grown and learned for that year: The recital also comes with a small fee as well as a small costume fee. This is an option; however, we do recommend it.


What are the monthly payment options? We accept Visa,Master Card, checks and cash. We also offer an automatic payment each month scheduled through our frount office for no additional fee.


What happens if we can not make it to class? Is my tuition pro-rated? We cannot prorate tuition for an reason. However, we do offer makeup classes. If your dancer need to miss a class for any reason, please ask the front desk if you wish to schedule a makeup class.


Does SCDF ever cancel classes due to inclement weather? Yes. If we have to cancel classes due to weather we will post it on our website, springscitydanceforce.com, post it on our Facebook page, and leave a message when you call the studio after 2:30 pm Monday through Friday and 8:30 am on Saturdays. We will also send an email to the email address on file.


What are Springs City Dance Force hours of operation? Monday through Friday we are open 4-8pm, and on Saturdays from 9-12am. We are closed Sundays for time with our families.
